Tray With Me ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Tray With Me mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

  • Local Data: Your daily aligner logs, wear time history, and treatment settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this specific health data on our servers.
  • Analytics & Crash Logs: We use third-party tools (Firebase) to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports to fix bugs.
  • Purchases: We use RevenueCat to process and validate your subscriptions. We do not store your credit card information directly.
  • No Ads: We do not track you for advertising purposes.

1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

A. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored securely on your device's internal memory:

  • Treatment start dates and tray change schedules.
  • Daily wear-time logs and history.
  • Notification preferences.

B. Data Collected by Third Parties

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or your device capabilities. We use these services for analytics, crash reporting, and subscription management.

2. Log Data & Analytics

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products like Firebase Crashlytics) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

3. Payment Data

We offer paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. Google Play In-App Billing).

We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. We share a unique User ID with RevenueCat to validate your subscription status across installs.

4. Advertising ID

We have explicitly removed the Android Advertising ID permission from our application. We do not track your activity across other apps and websites for advertising purposes.

5. Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services.

6. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. GDPR & CCPA (International Users)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have certain data protection rights. Since Tray With Me primarily stores data locally on your device, you can exercise your right to "deletion" simply by uninstalling the app and clearing your app data.

8. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
